Change your timeline: tweak your past to heal the present

Change your timeline: tweak your past to heal the present

Is there something in your past that you wish you could change?

It could be a minor as you not showing up as your best self in a past situation and now feeling guilty and full of regret over the way you acted, wishing you could go back and reshoot that scene.

Or it could be something as big and life-changing as having been abused or mistreated by your parents or former partner in the past and then spending your life up until now trying to heal, rebuild your confidence, and deal with the many wounds and limitations that trauma left you with.

I believe if you're a human, there's almost 100% chance that there's something you wish you could go back and change. :)

While it may sound like magic, there actually IS a way to go back and rewrite the past, and thus change our current experience.

Today I want to share with you a "change your timeline" practice, and I want you to try it even if you're skeptical.

Why Reiki is not enough to heal your physical or emotional issues

Why Reiki is not enough to heal your physical or emotional issues

We all know the many wonderful benefits of Reiki: it helps us relax, relieves stress, provides an emotional release, boosts immunity and the body's natural self-healing mechanisms, balances and nourishes our energy field, opens our energy centers (if the practitioner knows how), and promotes feelings of balance and well-being.  It's a great service to receive on a regular basis to keep yourself in a good energetic shape.

However, if you're dealing with major emotional or health issues, benefits of Reiki are only temporary at best.  Reiki doesn't really "fix" anything.

Managing energetic connections with others and staying in energetic integrity

Managing energetic connections with others and staying in energetic integrity

In the previous post, I covered a number of possible reasons behind energy leaks, including how other people can be draining our energy, intentionally or not.  Today I wanted to talk about some of the methods we can use to protect ourselves from being energetically affected by others.

Energy cords / compassionate connections

While energetic connections with family and close friends through which we send and receive energy are healthy and normal, we don't want to hold on to the energy cords between us and a negative person who sucked us into their drama to feed on the energy of our reaction, or the cords between us and all 25 of our patients whose problems we're constantly thinking about (and thus sending them energy).

Causes of energy leaks

One of the major reasons folks seek energy healing is fatigue, or feeling energetically drained.  Now, of course there are plenty of physical, psychological, and lifestyle reasons for fatigue: illnesses, infections, chemical imbalances in the body, depression, feeling unmotivated, sleep disorders, poor sleeping habits, poor nutrition, nutrition that doesn't match unique needs, too much physical or mental work, being WAY too busy every day, and the list goes on.  When none of these are at play and an otherwise healthy person still constantly feels like a deflated balloon, sometimes there's an energetic reason behind that.  Let's look at some of the causes of energy drain, some obvious, others surprising.

Pendulums 101 – using a pendulum

Pendulums 101 – using a pendulum

In the previous posts, we discussed how to buy, cleanse and program a pendulum.  Today, we're talking about the fun stuff – how to actually use a pendulum for healing, divination, and other, more unusual purposes.

So, what makes your pendulum move?

I've mentioned that the pendulum doesn't move by itself – it's just a rock on a string after all. So what makes it move then?

When you are holding a pendulum over someone's or your own chakra (energy center), it's the energy pattern of the chakra that makes the pendulum move.  The energy flowing into it from your hand also comes into play, but the pattern of movement will be defined by the chakra's state.

When you ask your Spirit Guides questions and use the pendulum to receive answers, I believe it's the Spirit Guides that move the pendulum.

In some psychic methods, we receive information from higher dimensions through our Higher Self, and the Higher Self passes a signal to our unconscious mind (the one that drives your car when you're thinking about something else and then wonder how you got home).  The unconscious mind then produces tiny movements in your arm, so tiny that to you it appears that your hand is perfectly still, and those tiny movements create motion in the pendulum.
